- ""As long as evil lurks in the hearts of Man, demon beasts will appear. Drawn by Inga, they come from the Makai through Gates. They possess humans and lurk in this world. There is also someone protecting the people from the demons this night too, a lone protector who dashes through the darkness...Rei Suzumura, also known as..Zero.""

Rei rushes out of Bar Lupo. He rushes to save a man from four horrors, managing to defeat two of them. Ring intervenes and incapacitates Zero, before persuading Katou to join him. Rei asks Silva to report it to the Watchdogs.
Rei is woken up by Yuna, who tests his strength before telling him that she has been assigned to work with him. Yuna tells Rei that Ring is building a community where Horrors and humans can live together.
Ring takes Iyu to a ceremony where Katou is devoured by horrors.

Trivia[]
- Rei indirectly alludes Kaoru Mitsuki while explaining to Silva that he found it preferable if Katou is accompanied by those who truly care to him in his last moments; both Katou and Kaoru were unfortunate souls who exposed to Horror blood, though the latter was much more fortunate since she was merely splattered with the substance and therefore could be cured via. Barankas Fruit extract as opposed of ingesting it outright.
