Fujiwara no Narimichi is one of Yasusuke's former rivals whose inner darkness gave birth to Kappa, the very Horror he eventually merged with.

History

Early History

Narimichi and Yasusuke were both part of a kemari demonstration to impress Fujiwara no Michinaga, but because Michinaga payed more attention to Yasusuke, Narimichi over did it and sprained his ankle as result. The injury ruined the perfect life Narimichi had, causing him to resent Yasusuke.

Narimichi would later dying from a passing epidemic, but his negative emotions spawned an Inga Horror he merged with at the last moments emerging from kemari ball he kept in his person.

Crimson Moon

One night, Kappa attacked Hakamadare's band of thieves with kemari balls when they were robbing an aristocrat. The lone survivor was able to inform Hakamadare, who was originally Yasusuke, giving him an idea of the Horror's identity.

Meeting Narimichi at the old mansion where the demonstration was held at, Yasusuke was able to confirm his suspicions, but before the situation could escalate any further, they were interrupted by the arrival of Raikou. They would meet again, but this time, Yasusuke donned the Zanga armor and cut down the Horror.
