GARO: Gold Storm Sho (aka GARO: The Makai Flight, Gold Storm Flight) is both a film and the name of second TV series continuing on from the events of The One Who Shines in the Darkness. The film serves as an introductory episode zero to the series and the TV series continues on the story.

Story

After the events of GARO: The One Who Shines in the Darkness, Ryūga Dōgai, the current Garo, is assigned to oversee matters in Line City alongside the Makai Priestess Rian. There, meeting new allies and enemies alike, the two first face a rogue Madōgu who sees humanity's destruction as the only way to end the Horror threat. Soon after, a fallen Makai Knight turned horror named Jinga, accompanied by his fallen Makai Priestess Amily, blackmailed a Makai Priest to break the magical seal on the Horror palace Radan by removing sealing blade known as the Hōken. But upon being removed, the Hōken split into two daggers with the Yin Dagger ending up in Ryūga's possession as he attempts to find the Yang Dagger to seal Radan. But joined by the Makai Priest Gald of Homura village, descended from the Makai Priests who created the Hōken, it now becomes a race against time to seal Radan before the Horror fully awakens.
