Girl (少女, Shōjo) is the twenty fourth episode of the midnight tokusatsu series GARO. The episode features the death of Barago.
Synopsis[]
As the Knights storm the tower to rescue Kaoru, she becomes possessed by Messiah, who is close to emerging in the Human world. As Rei fights Glum, Kouga must enter Kaoru's Gate to stop Messiah once and for all.
Summary[]
Barago tells Kaoru how he was been watching over her. Kaoru says that she is not afraid as Garo will save her, so Barago puts her to sleep.
Kouga Saejima and Rei Suzumura enter the building and are confronted by Gulm who blames them for killing Kodama. Gulm fights the pair, knocking Rei off a balcony. As she jumps down to attack Rei, Kouga makes his way closer to Kaoru.
Kouga makes his way to the Gate Room and fights Barago for Kaoru.
Rei, in his search for Gulm, sees a vision of Shizuka. Silva points out that Shizuka is a fake. Zero attacks the fake Shizuka once she calls his Zero as opposed to Ginga, the name she know him by. The fake Shizuka is revealed to by Gulm. Gulm keeps knocking down Rei before she transforms into her Demon Beast Armor. She shoots Rei with an energy blast, leaving him to fall to the floor. Rei survives the fall as Silva takes the impact of the shot.
Messiah wakes up in the body of Kaoru and is greeted by Barago. Messiah says that it has been one thousand years since anyone has achieved what Barago achieved. Messiah kills Barago telling him that he is a pawn for her to discard. Messiah tells Barago that he will fuel her creation as she devours and kills him. Gulm attacks Kouga in order to allow Messiah to complete her awakening.
Kouga knocks out Gulm and tries to intercept Messiah. Rei enters the Gate Room as both he and Kouga are beaten by Messiah. Kouga continually tries to reach Kaoru, which he manages to do as he embraces her.
Kaoru wakes up in a void.
Zero protects Kouga from Gulm as he rushes through the gate to find Kaoru. Kouga reunites with Kaoru. The void shows all of the paintings that Kaoru has done as well as a painting that she wants to do. Kouga absorbs the picture that Kaoru want to paint and swears to protect her as he rushes to confront Messiah.
Messiah bursts from the ground in the Makai and kouga transgorms into Garo to attack her as Kaoru looks on. Messiah kills random humans from the Makai as she searches for Kaoru's body.
