Hyena (腐, Haiena) is the fourteenth episode of GARO: The One Who Shines in the Darkness.
Synopsis[]
The team investigates an urban legend about a Horror who created more of his own kind using his own body parts. They find out that this legend is somehow connected to the disappearance of a popular violinist that happened two months ago.
Summary[]
After discussing the urban legend about the graveyard keeper, Ryūga and Rian chase Rian into his lair. Rian restores Hyena's voice and he invites them in. Hyena tells Ryūga that Madō Horrors can revert to being human and Rian leaves the two of them alone to talk.
Rian, Aguri and Takeru listen in on the conversation. Hyena tests Ryūga while acknowledging that Rian is listening in on him. Hyena tells Ryūga the story of Zedom and that the voice singing the requiem is Sophia.
Hyena leads the group to Makis house, where they slay him and take his head east. Takeru and Aguri defeat a hoard of Horrors as Ryūga slays Hyena.
Rian asks Burai if he knows what is really going on.
