Jun Namioka was one of the 100 players or "Knights" in Garo: Versus Road who participated in the titular game Versus Road.
Personality[]
Jun was a huge sore loser, to the point of hitting a woman in front of everyone while still having the face to blame Hoshiai for his own actions and still demand money for that. While inside Versus Road, he still attempts to severely injure Hoshiai despite Kuon beating him earlier, showing his unrepentant and vindictive personality.
History[]
Prologue[]
10 hours before the start of the series, Jun lost while competing with Hoshiai in an arcade game. Angry at his loss, he hit the girl who was accompanying him and blamed Hoshiai for making him hit her. He then took Hoshiai somewhere else and demanded him to pay for the lady's lost hours of work, but before he is able to do anything, the boy's friend, Sena Kuon, shows up. A brawl began and although he pushes Kuon to a corner, Kuon began fighting seriously and put Jun in a bad shape. He staggers out, not knowing that an overseer from Versus Road had observed their fight.
Versus Road[]
Once inside Versus Road, all the players were informed about the game and their first round, which consisted of an elimination round, surviving until half their numbers remained while being actively hunted by Horrors. Because the release of the Horrors caused everyone to flee in panic, he stumbles upon Hoshiai in a secluded location. Still holding a grudge from earlier, he beat Hoshiai continuously until Hoshiai realized that the game gave him increased fighting prowess. Hoshiai is able to fight back and put Jun into a neckhold, but Jun picks up a screwdriver from the floor and stabs it into Hoshiai's leg. Before he stab him again, Kuon comes to rescue his friend once again and after a intense fight with him, Jun is knocked out and disappears from the game.

- Fighting Prowess: Jun displayed a significant level of fighting skills and was capable to hold his own against Kuon, although not for long.
Equipment[]
- VR Glasses: As one of the people chosen to participate in "Versus Road", he was delivered a VR headset that allowed him to join the game.
