Naraka (奈落, Naraku) is the fifth episode of GARO: Makai Flash Knight
Synopsis[]
A manhole cover maker is creating manholes that act as Gates for the Horror Death Hole. Kouga and Leo must find all the manhole covers before Death Hole brings a mass outbreak of Horrors into the human world.
Summary[]
Kōji Kijima is lambasted by executives for only creating one manhole cover. He enters a Makai induced trance as he feels a newly created manhole. A woman falls into the newly installed manhole and becomes the host for Death Hole.
Kaoru helps out at the exhibition of Hisashi Aoki. Kōji Kijima is rejected by the gallery, but is recognized by Hisashi Aoki who runs to catch up with him. Kōji Kijima sullenly leaves.
Grace tells Kouga that the gate has disappeared. She identifies the horror as Death Hole and Kouga vows to find out the nature of the horror.
Kōji Kijima is working on another manhole when he is approached by Death Hole. She calls his work art as she installs another manhole cover.
Zaruba senses the new gate before Gonza tells Kouga that Leo wants to see him. Leo gives Kouga a potion in hopes that it will clear his Seal of Destruction and suggests to Kouga that he should rest and let other Makai Knights do his work until the mark is cleared. Kouga tell Leo that they have work to do.
Horrors are about to eat a police officer, when Kouga cuts it down. Leo and Kouga realize that the manhole covers are the gates and close them. Kouga saves Hisashi Aoki from another Horror and Kaoru comes out. She tells Kouga and Leo that the cover on the manhole is different to earlier in the afternoon.
Death Hole encourages Kōji to make more manholes before she is defeated by Kouga. Kouga finds Kōji, only to discover that he died while thinking of leaving his wife to die in a manhole.
