Ring (指輪, Yubiwa) is the eighth episode of the midnight tokusatsu series GARO.
Synopsis[]
A grieving bartender turned serial killer named Miri is possessed by Moloch, who continues her killing spree to recreate her deceased lover's hands by cutting off the fingers of victims. Kouga and Kaoru get into a fight as tensions rise between the two.
Summary[]
Miri Kamisugawa is preparing a drink as a pianist plays a song. She admires his hand.
Miri unpacks a new fridge as the news discusses the murder of Mikio Nishihara.
Kouga is training while Kaoru is drawing his hand. Kouga storms off after arguing with Kaoru regarding her drawing.
Miri fills her fridge with fingers as the news discusses their disappearance. Karune Ryūzaki told the news about what other attacks would occur. Miri remembers watching her lover play the piano. The moment that he proposed to her and the moment leading up to him running in front of a train after learning that he could no longer play the piano. As Miri grieves a Horror jumps on top of her and possesses her.
Moloch, in the body of Miri, kills another piano player.
Kaoru is talking with Asami Shinohara about Kouga when Shouta Fukushima appears and takes Asami away. Kaoru speaks with Miri about how she wants to be a painter and about Miri's Lover. They discuss the similarities between painting and playing the piano. Kaoru sits down and plays the piano. Rei Suzumura interrupts as Moloch prepares to kill Kaoru. A Rei prepared to fight Moloch, Kouga enters the room and Rei leaves Kaoru in his protection.
Kouga battles Moloch in a train yard where she tells Kouga that his hands are dirtied with blood before Kouga slays her. Rei watches and and he and Silva talk about how Kaoru is stained.
Zaruba asks Kaoru why she draws Kougas hand. Kouga wakes up and looks at Kaorus drawing before leaving the room.
