Roar (咆哮, Hōkō) is the eleventh episode of GARO: Makai Flash Knight.
Synopsis[]
Kouga takes Kaoru and Gonza to the tower where he inherited the title of Garo. However during the purification process, Kouga is attacked by Zaji, the manifestation of all the evil ki from the Horrors Kouga had defeated in the past. About to be defeated, Kouga receives a tip from one of his ancestors.

Gigi looks at the ancient script as The Red-Masked Man walks up to it, stating that he needs to decode it.
Kouga, Kaoru and Gonza are preparing to eat a meal outside. As Kaoru sets up her easel, she notices a tower. Kouga tells Kaoru that the tower was where he inherited the title of Garo, as well as all other bearing the title. The tower also acts as a tomb for those who bear the title. Kaoru and Gonza walk Kouga to the temple, telling him to take care as he enters. Gonza tells Kaoru that Kouga is performing a purification ritual.
Kouga is confronted by the spirit of Garo, which says that it can't repair the Seal of Destruction.
Kouga asks Gonza to return to the mansion as he takes Kaoru on a walk. On the walk, they pass a statue of a horror.
Zaji appears from a statue head. He cuts a hole in space and time to appear in front of Kouga, freezing time and challenging him to a fight. Zaji gets Kouga to fight by threatening Kaoru. The pair battle in a variety of locations. The Spirit of Garo stops time and tells Kouga to destroy the gate that summoned Zaji. Once Kouga destroys the gate, time reverts to its normal flow.
Kouga and Kaoru walk past the statue of the horror again. Ancient makai writing is revealed on the statue as the pair continue with their walk.

- Demon Beast Zaji would return in the Makai Flower episode "Mythology". Like before, he tries to destroy the Garo bloodline by attacking Kouga's son, Raiga.
