Shijō Kintō (四条公任) is the head of the Heian-kyō police force who serves Fujiwara no Michinaga.
Personality[]
Shijō Kintō is the head of the Heian-kyō police magistrate who serves Michinaga. He shown to be devoutly loyal to Michinaga, though this is eventually revealed to be a front, as Kintō is secretly working towards claiming Michinaga's position as head of the aristocracy.
History[]
With the help of Ashiya Dōman, Kintō is able to get rid of the aristocrats that did not think highly of him while being enticed to take Michinaga's place at th same time. And since those aristocrats became Horrors and were slain by Yasusuke while he was robbing their houses with his gang, the thieves became scapegoats for Kintō's crimes. However, his impulsive search for them would prove to be his most fatal mistake, as it revealed his wrongdoings to both Yasusuke and Yasumasa. Yasumasa eventually finds evidence of his crimes in a hidden room of the police station to and presents it to Michinaga, forcing Kintō to reveal his Horror form and try to murder Michinaga with no success as Yasusuke shows up. In the the ensuring fight, Kintō is empowered by the crimson moon, but still loses against Zanga and is slain. His death results in Yorinobu becoming the new head of the police magistrate.
