Guys, I don't know about you, but I think this is the worst Garo series to ever happen. The whole thing felt like a cheap budgeted series and they invested all the great graphics in the final episode! I thought The One Who Shines in the Darkness felt cheap until this one takes the cake! What do you guys think?

Probably not that worst. As much as it leaves much to be desired, I find Versus Road fare better compared to Fang of God: JINGA and GARO: The One Who Shines in the Darkness. Maybe that's because I find it has better ending compared to Fang of God: JINGA and we have yet to see anything in VR-Verse series. Not to mention creators of Garo series seemed wanted to try something new once a while and more successful after Fang of God: JINGA went wrong.

Yeah it does feel cheap, I expected more Knight on Horror action. Going around places and exterminating Horrors weekly was a formula Garo has always used. Humans fighting against humans was understandable since they were harvesting Inga and it set up the stakes very quickly, but to me, it just isn't a Garo thing. But I think that is what the makers were going for, not a traditional Garo series. Unlike everyone who was raised for it, Kuon was forced on the role of Garo, and even after becoming Garo, he still refuses to acknowledge it. In the finale, Azami tells him that he's fated to live as Garo, but he just replies that he isn't living for Garo's sake, is just that he can't die after everything that has happened and leaves the sword behind. Another thing I wanted was for Veil to get a physical suit, it has a cool design, but compared to both Zen and Gai (Both CGI as well), it looks very cartoony.

Perhaps not THAT cartoonish. You need to take a look at these:
