Watchdogs (番犬所 Bankenjo) are magical entities that appear human within the Makai Order that delegates missions to the Makai Knights Corps.
Description & Characterics
Little is known about the Watchdogs, except their delegation of missions for Makai Knights. While appearing human, it is stated they only take the physical image of a human and not a person at all; they can be originally human, but once they become a Watchdog, they are no longer considered so. However, the depth of their abilities is unknown, but their powers vary, as they can be killed by a knight or strong enough to kill a knight.
