He was normally weak and Takeru didn't have difficulty fighting him. However, the Horror suddenly got stronger when a musician named Shin started playing his music, strangely making the Horror stronger. It was eventually revealed that Shin was unknowingly using a Horror's scale as an amulet, which resonated with his music to make Horrors stronger. In the end, Ryūga slays the overweight Horror.
